Happens every election as it is, votes whether trunk of car pulled out of a hat more voters than registrants, they get away with it everywhere. We did get a few for voter fraud in not too far from me, see I don't know how that turned out. Did they shove it down the rat hole when we were immersed in other issues? Now that horrid Supreme Court decision about voter ID.
It's mostly on purpose; some is the roll of the dice nobody foresaw because the best of criminals can't always imagine the ultimate outcome. The best we can hope for now is damage control. I really can't envision any scenario by which the damage done by the Democrats and some by Republicans can be rolled back.
They aren't working for us. Prepare for the worst, hope for better.

Where is the GF from? Is she from Africa, could she have already been exposed to Ebola? Immune to it? or not develop the infection? Same with all viruses, a good portion of the population never gets sick after exposure.
Beats me. Maybe there’s not much news from them right now. Other than, “So, Louise, what’s your temperature this morning?” They’re grieving, people are (understandably) quite angry with them, and I’m genuinely not sure what they could contribute to the current events unfolding. Other than “My temp is 98.6. So are the temps of the rest of the quarantine crew.”
As for their location, I’m not sure it’d be wise for the public to know that. Just my 2 cents.
It isn’t as easy to catch as many things, like cold or flu viruses, so we are “lucky” in that regard. I expect more cases will be imported soon enough.
They are at their most contagious in the latter stages when they are melting down. The dudes family needs to be deported as soon as they come out of quarantine as they are illegal aliens. Send this crap back where it came from

I get the impression that ebola is hard to spread, or we have to wait beyond 21 days to see if their are any repercussions beyond those 2 nurses. - tom

I’ve been calling this all overblown hype for a couple weeks now. I didn’t hear Rush’s show today, but it’s pleasant to see unemotional observations.
The attention needs focused on our absentee government, including those politicians that are staying silent on the matter (for SOME reason).
If government cannot secure the borders and protect the population from a disease that heretofore was isolated to ANOTHER CONTINENT (until THEY brought it here...they might as well written invitations by extending Visas to Liberians)...

I still haven't seen anything that would indicate Duncan's visa was affected by the policy. In fact, the wording kind of implies that his visa was approved before it went into effect.
Here's an approximate timeline.
June, he starts applying for a visa.
Late August, visa approved.
September 2, ticket purchased.
September 4, quits job.
September 15, exposed to Ebola. The people dealing with the girl reportedly thought she was having complications of pregnancy.
September 18, Duncan leaves Liberia.
The timeline simply doesn't allow for him deciding to come to America after knowing he was sick.
