Some have suggested that Florida State star quarterback Jameis Winston might drop out of school as a way to avoid the institution's investigation into prior sexual assault charges brought against him, as well as an inquiry into whether he violated NCAA rules for being compensated for autographs, but several sources close to him said that is in no way a consideration.
Winston intends to fight vigilantly to maintain his innocence in both instances, however, given the current state of his relationship with the upper reaches of FSU, it has become a certainty he will declare for the NFL Draft. Winston led the Seminoles to a wild win vs. Notre Dame Saturday night to preserve their national title hopes.

” Now, however, in the face of the multiple investigations into him, and what has become an adversarial relationship with school officials (excluding coach Jimbo Fisher and key members of the athletic department)”

Winston will be an epic fail in the NFL.
That Notre Dame game was a great game.
“That Notre Dame game was a great game.”
Refused to watch it.
(former FSU student)
Sadly, it was decided by an unforced Notre Dame mistake. Passing behind the line of scrimmage or simply running it in using the wide open path to the end zone avoided the call nullifying the touchdown.
The college star QB and scholar added: “Yeah, I’m goan fight dis vigilante...ly, vigil...vigil-ly...I doan know...someshit dat begin wit a vee...”
Perhaps, or perhaps he'll be a Ben Roethlisberger, successful on the field and messing up his life off the field. Or perhaps he will find God, like Ray Lewis did.
“Jameis”—has a brother named “Jameain’t”?
they make it sound that if these investigations were not hanging over his head Winston would somehow choose not to enter the 2015 NFL Draft...that’s ridiculous
Despite being an alumnus of FSU, I have to agree with you. Winston's field work may be impressive, but his personal maturity is that of a high school sophomore. He's got a lot of growing to do.
Ok, at the risk of getting flame sprayed for coming across as a ND Whiner...that pass interference call was a BS call.
Those refs could have called holding ALL night long on #54 Tre’ Jackson (OG) who was getting his butt whipped almost every down and he had to hold to keep Winston from getting planted.
It’s fine if they are going to call pass interference, but call the holding too then. We have watched the game twice since Saturday and we count 18 flagrant holding (like shirt obviously being pulled or shoulder pad being pulled) that were not called that should have been called against Tre’.
So....that was F’n BS — Those A$$HOLE refs should have let the touch down stand or they should have been calling a fair game all night.
Thanks, now me and my sour grapes are going to go over here and shut up now.
Ray Lewis found God? When?
Oh, at that kind of church, the kind of church that invites the parents of Michael Brown:
No, thanks.
When Lewis, the unindicted co-conspirator to murder, decided he needed an image rehab.
Yep! I am a woman who does not follow professional sports, but I live in MD, and, from what I have seen, Lewis is a jerk.
Ray Rice seemed like a wonderful fellow to me, but I guess he’s not so nice, after all. Apparently, his wife is no prize, either....

...I love Irish football as much as the next guy, but you’re wrong...it was the right call...should have thrown the pass behind the line of scrimmage, and he’d still have walked into the end zone and the downfield blocking would have been perfectly legal...
...and please stop with the holding nonsense...every team holds on every single play...
That Notre Dame game was a great game.

...fine...your loss, FRiend...
“...fine...your loss, FRiend...”
To each his own. My life is not less because I didn’t watch the game.
