Try to find one without a computer. The computer will fail and the machine will be fine, yet uneconomical to fix.
Mechanical timers are fine. However, do not get the Lowes bottom ender. It is noisy.
A buddy of mine had his high-end, high-dollar machine crap out because of the circuit board. He found an on-line company that basically re-imaged (not sure if that's right) the motherboard and it's worked fine since. The price was cheaper than a replacement or a service call.
