About 6 years ago I bought the 2nd most expensive Maytag washer. Went through 2 transmissions in the first year. Got tired of water damage and ditched it. My sister had the same problem with her front loading top of the line Maytag. No more maytags for me. Google it, you’ll see.
Maytag is now made by Whirlpool. The old, troublesome Maytag designs and workmanship of the early-mid 2000s are gone.
