Etymology: 1950-55; perhaps back formation from mythomania

Barack Hussein Obama, famed mythomane, is well on his way to becoming the only person who still believes his lies. His speech cadences and generally hammy tone do not make up for the lack of content therein. His foreign policy record is a complete disaster, particularly since The One promised us peace and not mayhem. Domestically, his outrageous money math has led to a gutting of our healthcare system and more debt incurred than the total accumulated by all of our previous presidents, combined. When he promised us Hope and Change, apparently Hope for the Future and Change for the Better was not what he meant. Oh my! When he promised to fundamentally change America, I protested, as did all good patriots, with a throat-clearing Ahem! Not my country.
