I was working with an ultrasound tech one night and she was coming into the hospital late. She said she had to stop at the store on the way to work to buy condoms which they used to roll on the ultrasound wand for prostate exams.
She says it embarrasses her to buy condoms and she always has to bite her tongue to keep from saying, “These aren’t for me, they’re for work.”
Then, she says she never knows what to say to a guy when she’s unrolling a condom onto the US wand.
She didn’t like my advice, “Bet you never thought you’d pay for this.”
That’s a great line.
