Suspected cop-killer Eric Frein ARRESTED in Pennsylvania

Pennsylvania State Police, ending a seven-week manhunt, have captured a man accused of ambushing two troopers, leaving one dead and seriously injuring the other.

Eric Frein, 31, was taken into custody Thursday, state police said. NBC reports that Frein was found in a hanger at Pocono Mountain Airport, where they received a report he was hiding.

Despite being armed with a gun, sources told CNN that he was arrested by U.S. marshals without incident. Marshals surrounded the hangar, called out Frein's name and he surrendered.

However, pictures of Frein in the back of a police cruiser show him nursing a wound to his nose. It's unclear how he sustained the injury.

He will now reportedly be taken back to Blooming Grove police barracks, where he allegedly shot a state trooper dead on September 12, to be booked in jail to await his first court appearance.

Apples and oranges dude. Frein being compared to the Founders is an absolute insult. And idiotic.

I'm actually surprised that he is.

Must have been "inconvenient" witnesses, like Feds, maybe.

Doubt if there's any video, though - can't have our vision of the "brave boys in blue" sullied by images of gratuitous violence. LOL! :)

Ahhh! So you prefer NOT to answer the Jose Guerena question, then?

I see... LOL! :)

You’re likening a cold blooded murder to warfare? Frein was fighting state troopers for his freedom when he ambushed them ?! Are you an idiot?

You are the one who made the idiotic blanket statement about "anyone who could ambush a human being in cold blood is a danger to society." What about our vaunted law enforcement? They do it every day!

And where's the line between "cold blooded murder" and warfare? Were the Waco killings warfare, or just cold blooded murder? How about Randy Weaver's wife? Was that a murder, or just 'warfare'?

Face it--Frein is in big, big trouble because he attacked law enforcement, the "legitimate authorities", same as Chris Dorner. If he'd have popped a couple of thugs in South Philly, this would be over.

He was arrested by US Marshals, not the state (or local) police.

Again, apples and oranges. The Jose Guerena case does NOT excuse Frein. And you and your buddy are trying to excuse a murderer by comparing him to the Founding Fathers. Get real.

My point precisely. No defending the guy, I'm saying that Frein is just as dirty as the cops he killed, but he is in trouble because he attacked "the legitimate authorities" who are far more tyrannical than anything the Founders ever faced.

You really need to get a clue. Defending Frein by comparing him to the Founders is outrageous. Who the heck are you, Bill Ayers?

Yeah - when do we deal with the SWAT team that shot Jose Guerena? LOL! :)

A most excellent point.

US Marshall’s arrested him.

That tells me everything I need to know. The Feds are really feeling the threat from a guy who can shoot a couple of cops, eh?

He was arrested by US Marshals, not the state (or local) police.

That's why he's still alive. The marshals aren't chickensh*t cowards, unlike unnamed "others"...

They're the "inconvenient" witnesses I wrote about earlier. Raylan Givens lives. I think Raylan would have popped him in the nose, too. US Marshals don't do the boots thingee, for the most part.

Well you know when LEO’s shoot and kill unarmed citizens it never because they are cowards or incompetent. It is always because they can do it.

Shooting an unarmed citizen is murder. And any LEO who does it is a coward.

I do not support or do I endorse this POS shooting LEO’s but I am sick and tired of LEO’s shooting unarmed citizens and feel as much compassion for their deaths as LEO’s feel for those unarmed citizens they shoot.

This kid is a damned good ‘survivalist,’ so being locked in a cell for the rest of his life will be a far worse punishment than the death penalty. He’s only 31, imagine how long THAT life sentence will be. I had a brief thought, maybe there IS a death penalty for killing a cop. then remembered: oh, hell, never mind. Mumbai killed a cop in PA and skated free after conviction.

You get real. It was your idiotic blanket statement that I was reacting to. You are ready to lock up everyone who is even capable of ambushing another human being. Well, lock up "the troops", because they are TAUGHT HOW. And lock up the LEOs, because those tyrannical bastards do it every day, and go home with a smile on their face.

Frein murdered a trooper and seriously wounded a 2nd one. Do you have any reason to believe that either trooper has ever killed anyone in cold blood? If not, why do you believe they needed to be punished for things they didn’t do?

You really don't see the logical corner you've backed yourself into with your idiotic blanket statement about anyone who can ambush another human, do you? Just go vote Republican on Tuesday, and contribute to the Policeman's Ball, be a good little wage slave, and support the Legitimate Authorities. It's for The Troops, after all.
