LOL!
I’ll go $25!
Ill ask Chumlee
*************
LOL....... Now if you’re talking tennis shoes Chumlee is
the go to guy for sure.
A neighbor has an 1894 30-30 which he bought many years ago, but is in good shape. He hasn’t used much, hasn’t been open to selling it, but doesn’t need it - has two dogs and a shotgun to keep eagles away from his chickens and 30-30 wouldn’t be first choice of firearm. I’m pondering offering him $250 for it.
Always Remember... Condition, Condition, Condition!!!
Don’t over clean your weapon..
Ya....and the TITLE of this thread says 30/30...so...
“What’s it worth” is like the old pawnbroker joke about teaching a kid arithmetic. How much is two plus two? Depends. You buying, or selling?
How to tell the fair market value can take some work, but start with completed sales on gunbroker for guns of similar vintage and condition.
I just bought a 1949 Win ‘94 in .30 WCF (30-30) for $500.
Yours might sell for more or less depending on the seller and your local market.
TANSTAAFL.
================================================
Winchester 1894 .30-30 (W6062)
Winchester 1894 .30-30 Caliber Rifle. (Excellent). Made in 1895. Near Mint Winchester 1894 Deluxe. .30-30 rifle with a half round/half octagon, half magazine pistol grip, checkered deluxe. Gun even letters with the correct sights. Just about all of the original blue on barrel and frame, bright case colors on hammer and lever. Stock is excellent with a great piece of feathered walnut. Checkering is sharp. One of the nicest deluxe 1894's we have seen come around in a while. This is gun that would be very hard to improve!
Price: $19,500.00
SKU: W6062
Not Chumlee, but I gotta buddy who can come and take a look at it.
And then I will tell you everything that is wrong with it, and how long it will take me to sell.
I will offer you about a third of what it is worth. You will settle on half.
Then I will go in the back office, put it on gun broker and sell it for what its worth.
My two have no price. They are irreplaceable.
Therefore, more common. Q.E.D.
Still not “hex”, right?
LOL!
An old ‘94 would say “.30 WCF” for caliber instead of .30-30...
You sure you know anything about this stuff?
I was quoting the effin headline, which answered the issue of caliber.
I’ve got a 1954 vintage sitting in the safe.
ISIS and SASS are just about the same...?
Who doesn’t?
I keep my rarer stuff in the safe. My pre-64 Winchester I keep in the gun cabinet.
Would be a lot more impressed if you had a cherry ‘73 or ‘76 or an ‘86. A lot more safe-worthy.
Thanks for the reply to my post. That looks like it’s in pretty good shape for a piece that’s probably seen a lot of work.
