Late '70s, 1965 Ford Galaxie 2-door wi' 390, under-dash mounted AM/FM/Cassette (Craig, IIRC), Jensen 6" round speakers in the front kick panels and 6x9 Triax speakers in the rear package shelf. Played a lot of pre-disco rock, but there were some non-disco offerings that were new to the radio then. Boston's first album seemed very well suited to the Jensen Triax speakers.
Drag racing? Yeah, the little flecks of rubber stuck to my rear quarter panels got me busted by my dad more than once. That big Ford could really move.
I'm wanting a fat-fendered pickup to tinker with now. Got a line on a bone-stock '56 F-100.

My mom had a 65 Galaxie 500. Great car...V8 engine...one day my dad had it past 100 mph (on an stretch of highway that was unopened in Pennsylvania, we were going to my grandparents house.)

Drag racing?? My Ambassador wagon was fast... my friends and I used to race on what is now I 384 before it was opened... mostly I lost, but I had fun. I had besides my Citation X11 (loaded), I had an Opel GT, Mustangs, a Vette, a Buick 225 and a Nova.
