Again, I don’t know how old it is, but Wolf’s Lodge just east of Coeur d’Alene is spectacular. Reasonable prices, too.
As you can tell, I love a good steak.

Seven. Is that respectable?
Seven no matter which Georgia restaurant is the oldest.
Sadly, I've missed Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona.

And Hudson’s in downtown Coeur d’Alene has the best hamburger in the country, as far as I know. That little place has been there for dang near a century, I think.

Yep. Ate at Hudson’s just one time, but I was impressed. Great burgers, no french fries, just potato chips and pickles for sides.

Yeah. And no tables. Just a lunch counter.

McSorley's. Not the oldest in New York but one of the oldest (1854). It really hasn't changed much over the years. Basically a man's bar (though they have been allowing women since 1970) that serves a simple menu that revolves around raw onions and cheese. Only two types of beer (light and dark) but they are both excellent. No hard drinks whatsoever.
I was last there over the summer and had about 10 beers. So that you don't think I'm a drunkard, they serve the beer in tiny glasses and they come in pairs. $3 for two glasses, I believe.
