One of the biggest boom in the gun industry are holsters for females. They come in all different types for bras, garters and waistbands.
Most holsters are design to be carried by their male counterpart. Women are built differently and clothing are different. Which means more custom holster designs for women.
Have a look at some of these alternatives holsters for females here.
Thanks so much for posting this!
I just passed my CCW test, & have been looking for lady-friendly holsters. It can be tough if you aren’t super skinny, and are still getting rid of baby weight. These look great!
Alas, I still won’t be able to conceal carry my recent wedding anniversary gift, an AR-15. That one is hard to hide under skirts! :)
I told MrR before we got married we would have guns in the house and he needed to be able to shoot and handle them. He is not the gun nut I am but he likes them pretty well now.
Hey, I was wondering what you thought about the “holsters” featured in this thread. I went to the website to see if there were any serious holsters without the frills. Didn’t see anything simple, just lingerie stuff. They seem to be made for men to like, if you ask me. Oh well, it’s the free market so, “whatever!”. It just seems to demean the serious nature of conceal carry and makes the women in the online catalog seem objectified, maybe those are my objections.
I agree I thought they were a bit more fantasy than reality. I would never buy or wear one. Of course I have a high hip to waist ratio so they would probably just keep slipping up too high for me. LOL
Looks like that may chafe a bit.
Check out the Glock with a 100 round mag on YouTube vids! (Okay, so concealed Carry might be a pain!)
Yep, I’d never buy one either. Nice talkin’ to ya! (Signing off for the night.)
Ha! Good for you and your husband!
Wow, that is surprising!
My wife grew up in a family of gun people(her Dad and brothers), but she didn’t take the bait.
That will put a spring into your step.
Even with the pictures above, I ended up slightly disappointed...
His mom fancied herself a lib(she really wasn’t and finally figured it out) and there was a big fight when his dad spent his ‘cradle money’ before he was born for a new rifle (b/c he had a child coming and needed to protect his family) so MrR didn’t really grow up around guns and I did. It really is a safety issue, he needs to know how to properly handle guns if they are going to be in the house and how to shoot and basic tactical training if it is ever needed and I am not there or for some reason can’t (like I am dead).
I did convince him this year to get his CCW, but he only carries when we are on the road.
Wow, a strong woman! I’m impressed!
The *average* woman .....is there such a thing?
A woman intent on carrying needs to have the training and practice, practice, practice with the weapon...no matter what that weapon is.
Did I say range time?
Are you kidding? She can move furniture that way.
That will put a spring into your step.
