Yep, I was there for the first time last Sat. and was quite surprised.

My adult son and I, staring out the window next to Oswald's alleged vantage point, disagree as to how "makeable" the shots were.

He thinks it would've been easy for an average marksman; I agree on the first shot, not so sure on the other two.

I was only 11 when the assassination occurred, and have had a lifelong fascination with the conspiracy theories.

While I don't buy into many of them, the TV series "The Men Who Killed Kennedy" does present some troubling possibilities.

I think that every thing about oswald was true and he did make 2-3 shots but i like the theory that the driver ss guy actually accidentally discharged the new semi-auto that sent the fatal bullet, as he was the second string (actually a driver) because all the regulars had hangovers. i think this is the Hinkley post above. i'm not military so it's a question, isn't basic training on fixed targets? moving is a whole other science.

Another thing that I noticed was that there was a lot of echo off of both that building and the others around. That might explain the other “shots” that others said they heard.

That said, there were plenty of people that had grudges against him.

If memory serves, the SS broke up an attempted assasination in Houston the day before Dallas.
