Those work great!! I shot a snake on a trail while fishing with my 357 using those. Quick draw shot him about 4 inches from the head..

The Judge is a good gun; I traded up for a S&W Governor; same capabilities with the .410 but six rounds instead of five and the grip feels better for me.

Why a gun? A machete does a good job of removing the snake’s head, though I admit it may be a bit cumbersome on your belt.
