Do ya’ suppose a mix of rubbing alcohol and 2-4-D would retain the desired properties of both? Drive off the snake or kill the freakin’ poison ivy . (Prob. should not use 2-4-D at the water, tho...)

My herper friends keep bottles of vinegar or alcohol handy in case one of their animals gets nippy.
You don’t want to pry off a valuable snake, lest you damage its teeth, so, a spritz of nasty tasting stuff makes them let go.
