DALLAS -- Two people were injured in a single car crash on McKinnon Street Wednesday morning.
A Texas Department of Public safety spokesperson said troopers were called to the scene around 7:41 a.m. Investigators say the 27-year-old driver lost control and hit a guardrail after driving over a wet spot in the road.
According to the DFW Scanner Facebook page, the exact location of the crash is unknown.
The 2015 McLaren P1 was heavily damaged in the crash. The driver and his 24-year-old passenger were taken to Parkland Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
According to a spokesperson from Park Place Premier Collection, the exotic car was sold by the dealership Tuesday, one day before the crash.

That’s a short list - if nothing else there’s any number of website/app successes 15 years and up with millions and billions on hand post-IPO ... I’m working on being one myself. ;-)
There’s a site devoted to pix of financially expensive crashes:

If you mean he probably spun out on a curve and rear-ended the rail then I agree ... ; - )
it’s just a flesh wound...
Understeer, oversteer ... what did the salesman say as we drove off?
Yes
All the best! And drive carefully when you get the Porsche!
Couldn’t wait so we got a cute little ‘99 BMW Z3 2.8 liter marvel of engineering - our best ride ever. Still looking around for a huge parking lot to really test its grip without worrying about guard rails or curves! Can’t say anymore for insurance reasons ... ;-)
LOL! I may have posted (but it may be new to you) about the Porsche dealership in a town in Florida where I was living that had an annual charity raffle with a chance to drive a Porsche as the grand prize. The man who won it took it out of the lot, drove it a block, and then attempted to turn a corner onto a bigger street...at which point he shot ahead and lost control, since both acceleration and steering are very sensitive. He sailed up an embankment, took out a street light in passing, dropped into the parking lot of a drug store and ended up embedded in the front of the store. Fortunately, nobody was injured, but the car was not in good shape and the dealership stopped giving out that prize! Maybe the winner just got a framed picture of a Porsche after that, I don’t know...
Well the obvious American choice is to sue the guard rail manufacturer!
