Neil Diamond is ancient and still puts on a great show.

I've seen parts of his recent-years' concerts on YouTube and he does an excellent job covering for the places in his songs that he can no longer sing--talks through them. He has always relied heavily on orchestration, especially in the shrill passages.

Still listen to Hot August Night every year or three but I've never really liked him as a performer and don't know why, since I have enjoyed some of his songs so very much over the years.

And stop this "ancient" business immediately. These are my peers.
