Three+ Guns Per Second Sold on Black Friday

Based on preliminary numbers, it appears that Black Friday gun sales were extremely brisk.
At one point, the NICS system was processing three background checks per second for gun sales. This of course doesnt take into account guns sold online (the buyer does the background check when they pick the gun up at a local dealer). Also, in many states an NICS background check isnt required if the buyer has a valid carry permit.
“Three+ Guns Per Second Sold on Black Friday”
That headline just gives me the warm and fuzzies all over. I love the idea that most of those guns are in the hands of like minded people. I also happen to know that nearly half of all guns sold are sold to liberals/democrats, so it’s tempered with that knowledge.
Or states where non-FFL private sales are paperless. In Ohio IF neither of the two persons holds an FFL and the sale is a private to private sale, you check ID to verify state residency and age, exchange cash and done deal. Gun shows in Ohio are most cool events, indeed!
