So why did he go back to the Democrat party?

I know a lot of times Sir Cumference (my favorite nickname for Sir Charles) says things that infuriate freepers, but you gotta admit... the guy is independent, and says what he things. My hats off to him.

When he’s good, he’s very very good.

Because he is sane - and honest?

What’s the over/under on a career-ending scandal coming out about Mr. Barkley this year?

“[W]e have to be really careful with the cops, because if it wasn’t for the cops we would be living in the Wild, Wild West in our neighborhoods," he said. "We can’t pick out certain incidentals that don’t go our way and act like the cops are all bad.... Do you know how bad some of these neighborhoods would be if it wasn't for the cops?”

The "money" quote, in my opinion.

Charles Barkley is one of those stopped clocks — right twice a day.

But when he’s right, he’s right.

Perhaps his joining the Democrat Party was a sly move. Someone is going to have to take control away from the Communist wing of the party. Why not Charles?

Sounds like Charles is back to being a Republican. Wonder if he’s patched things up with Rush.

I don’t care for him or the things that fell out of his mouth in years past but lately I’m giving him high fives.
