Drenching rain will fall on much of California through Tuesday night, bringing some relief to the ongoing drought and raising the risk of flash flooding.

No rain = Climate change.

Rain = Climate change.

I sure do miss the days when we didn’t any weather. Before climate change made water fall/not fall from the sky.

Good. The last 3 years have been really dry. I am sure the ski areas are enjoying it. I would assume no one can use I-80 without chains.

Californians seem to not understand their aqueduct system.

The reservoirs and drainage systems are meant to capture the water just for this very reason. California has dealt with many droughts but never this much usage.

They must bide their time and hope for a strong winter season. Outside of that, they are screwed.

Lingering drought with Flash Flood Warnings in the same sentence. That’s California. We have a storage problem not a water shortage.

Was he skinny when he nearly blew off the balcony?

Let us all rejoice in the rain. God has heard the prayers of the good people of California, which there are still many, and brought down healing rain.

I am happy for them.

But, it would be funny just to see Roker over-react if it is not the torrential downpour that gives his station ratings.

Rain makes me so happy. It is a blessing here in the Sonoran desert.
