1700 era swords look nothing like that. IF, and I do mean IF it was made in the 1700’s it is a replica.

I bet it was made in 1984. In Pakistan. Sold in an airport gift shop.

This story caught my attention because my father has a real antique sword collection, most of which are hanging on a rack in my bedroom at his house. Last week I was laying on the bed trying to get my son to sleep and looking at them, and wondering if any of them had ever killed anyone. Pretty spooky!

1700s, most swords had gone to the rapier style or saber. That style would of been far older. This story doesn’t add up.
