You may be closer to the truth than you think. There has been a lot of noise on social media about companies paying for Halal certification in Australia and then charging all customers for the privilege. Lindt’s are one of the companies that does not have Halal certification and was the subject of a promotion on Facebook to buy Lindt’s for Xmas because it was Halal Certification free.
