Well that is not true. I take Vitamin D-3 and I take lots of orange juice for vit. c. I can still get the flu. I also try and wash my hands etc. but there aer times when I have still gotten the flu and colds.

I do believe vitamin D-3 will help with reductions in the flu and colds and reduce the length of a cold. It will also help boost the immue system. Vit. D-3, however, does not stop it.

I stand by what I said. My wife used to bring flu and colds home from school 4-5 times a school year. We both started taking the D-3 at 10,000 units (2 tiny gelcaps) a day through the winter and have not had any virus since. Same goes for relatives and a bunch of friends I talked into doing the D-3, including a lady at Walgreen whose job includes giving flu shots. She doesn’t take them herself any more. These are winter ailments because you don’t get sun in the winter, no other reason. When the H1(don’t remember just what it was called) “pandemic” was all over the area and the schools here were full of it we did not get flu shots nor did we get the flu.

If you have the flu already take 1000 units of D-3 per pound of body weight all at once. The instructions are to repeat that the next day. 1 daughter and I both started when we had the flu and were really sick with it. We only took the megadose once each and symptoms were gone by evening for me and next morning for her.
