This could actually be worse.

I have noticed that liberal leftist propaganda is more and more being disseminated via non-political entertainment programming, especially sports.

Much more effective than stupid political programming that the average person doesn’t care about or gets bored with.

it’s pretty much what most sports is all about now - politics and social engineering. I stopped watching all the sports I loved for almost 40 years because of this garbage.

I watch hockey now and will not be surprised when this sport is infiltrated. They’ve ruined the Olympics too which is lousy.

I’ve still got a few friends in the biz and believe me, your idea isn’t that far-fetched. Olbermann is a total ass and he’s napalmed bridges at virtually every place of employment, but he generated some of the highest ratings MSNBC had in prime time. That hasn’t been lost on the “new” management team at NBC News, which also oversees the media dumpster fire that is MSNBC. From their perspective, Olbermann (and all the baggage he brings) is looking pretty good compared to the current disaster.

Nothing would feed Keith’s colossal ego more than going back to MSNBC as the returning savior, with a huge pay raise and his old time slot. Besides, how long has he been back at ESPN? Eighteen months? That’s an eternity for him. Besides, Olbermann took a big pay cut to return to the sports network and MSNBC would offer mid-seven figure money to anchor a prime time show.

Additionally, most of the executives who fired him three years ago have moved on and the new crew is desperate for anything that might attract an audience. So, Olbermann’s return to MSNBC is much more likely than people realize.

MUCH different spin on KOS.

By bringing in sports and other things, they bring more viewers to the left-leaning political shows.

Yes.

Young men love sports. This is probably more effective than a Rachel Maddow Show in getting the leftist brainwashing in to young men.

End of MSNBC? Not a chance. MSNBC is just a mere speck in the GE conglomerate. There are enough leftys there that will allow the subsidization of this turd forever. You can bank on it!!!!

What?

They have such a sterling lineup I find this hard to believe.

For example-—Al Sharpton,Ronan Farrow,and the oh-so-adorable Chris Hayes.

:-)

Need new shows—new people—radical new shows with great ideas. The show hasn’t been the same since Kieth Obermann left. He was a lefty but funny! Maybe get Glenn Beck back! Or go all Libertarian—or ballance with left and hard left? Show ideas for MSNBC: feel free to use them:
1. The Black Power Hour! Panthers do an hour of hate whitie.
2. The Socialist States of America! Commie America and the worker’s Paradise—Go totally Marxist! Might be fun to watch this mess.
3. The hour of Hate! Like the 2 minute hate in 1984—only an hour of slaming the right wing, Tea Party, GOP, NRA, Military, George Bush and Ronald Reagan!
4. The Coffee Party—Old Hippies talk about what it was like in the Anti-War days at college—maybe light up a joint?
5. The Eternal Jew—How the Jews have enslaved the people of the Middle East—control banking, and wish to rule the world.
6. The Jihadi Hour! Radical islam—by Radical Islamic clerics—The Al Baghdadi hour—news from their focus? Might be fun to see these nitwits views.
7. The Ladies of the Left—Get the most radical women to for the left wing version of the View.

I think you should draft a memo and send it to MSNBC. Even with your tongue firmly-in-cheek, you’ve come up better programming ideas than the network has had in years.

You must be a fan of “Network.” Some of your suggested shows have the same “over-the-top” flavor as the “Mao Tse-Tung” hour that aired after the Howard Beale Show.
