When I walk into any movie, I hope it will be good.
After all, this is how I spend the majority of my time. This is what I write about and speak about and think about more than anything else, and when I see critics who seem to dislike the majority of what they cover, I am baffled. Why would you do this work if you genuinely dislike more than you like?

I saw The Imitation Game. I recommend it.
I liked “The Judge” but then I’ll watch anything with Robert Duvall in it.
I liked “Fury” as well but it could have left most of the blood and gore to my imagination.

It’s hardly a day’s pay but the point for me,as a retiree, is getting out and being with people.
I go to the movies almost weekly.
