So if you resist arrest you should have the air squeezed out of your lungs until you suffocate???

Are your papers in order comrade?

Comply or die?

If nothing else, this is completely tasteless and offensive to the family of the deceased. Really not a good “public relations” move.

I give him one thumb down on community relations, and also, on survival skills.

I prefer don't arrest for lemonade stand violations.

All the other thugs deserved what they bought.

Gardner didn't. Poor street rat was just trying to get by for the day.

Do the cops arrest children for lemonade stands? No.

Police state ego is what killed him. They could have just given him a ticket! But No. They had to be "In CONTROL", even if it meant killing the suspect.

Unarmed and St Skiddles be damned! They asked for what they got, and I'm glad they got it.

But Eric didn't assault anyone. He had not robbed any one except a few pennies from the State cigarette tax fund. Hardly anything justifying a take down.

Good cops are Good. Bad are bad. You should never try to hide the bad! It makes you look like a guilty liar, just like the baby mamma welfare check recipients claiming their lil angeel got hunted down by the man.

“Comply or Die”

Sure fits better on a t-shirt than:

“Protecting & Serving..to include but not exclusively..., SWATing Walmart shoppers, Shooting dogs, Flashbanging sleeping toddlers, Seizing Assets, Tasering Grandpa, and the Above All Priority - Officer Safety goes home to his family every night...”

Billboard time.

General rule of thumb: don’t break the law, and you won’t have to deal with the consequences of breaking the law.

Yes, there are exceptions. Once we’ve objectively worked passed how many people are manhandled for resisting arrest which subsequently leads to a conviction for lawbreaking, THEN we can take a look at the rather small number of people who resist arrest but are, in fact, not guilty.

The guy in question wouldn’t have gotten the air squeezed out of his lungs if he hadn’t been doing something overtly illegal (which he knew was illegal, as he’d been arrested for it some 8 times before).
