True, but in reality they are the Nazis. Progressives are the most totalitarian creatures around. They would line up to herd us onto the cattle cars and smirk at us while doing so.
Exactly. They indeed are. They aren’t content to have their ideas and policies judged on their merits by people exercising freewill. If they wanted to try out single payer like they did in Vermont and let it rise or fall on its merits then I’d not care unless I lived in Vermont. The problem is they don’t stop at Vermont and even when it fails in Vermont they decide that the reason it didn’t work was because everyone wasn’t forced into the single payer plan. That is where I depart from them and would fight to the death against them.
