In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of Word for the Day.
Nescience

And be oblivious with your headphones on.
Imagine if he had not moved her bag, but instead tapped her shoulder. Then it would be that some racist cracker assaulted her.
Ignorance is bliss. A++
I think so many problems could be avoided by simple courtesy.
That makes much more sense than your first post! lol Nicely done
Wasn’t that utterly ridiculous? I’ve asked people to reach for things for me as well - she’s the size of a man - I’m sure lots of people have asked her to reach for things
I think it is more likely that the obams just give off an air of hatred that makes everyone around them uncomfortable and they pick that up as racism.
Now that story from the white male’s side: The train was crowded, no seats other than this one that had a bag on it and a woman who was lost in her music and ignoring me. I knew better than to touch her physically and risk being charged with assault but I had been up for hours walking and needed to sit. I felt she was deliberately ignoring my attempts to gain her attention so I finally just reached over to gently move her bag and she reacted as if I was trying to steal it.
If he’d have touched her to get her attention, her article would be all about his entitlement to touch any black woman because of slave masters raping the slave girls.
OMG that is hilarious!
Yes and I wrote that before seeing your post! lol
She is the boy who cried wolf. I’d think she a parody if I didn’t know better.
She obviously is a semi-professional with a job - works around white people all the time and never has an issue but is doing that obam thing where she needs to feel “the struggle” so she’s turning every day incidents into racial hatred....
No, worse. She is a “Black Studies” professor at Princeton. This is what she does for a living - she sees racism everywhere and writes insipid articles about it.
This isn’t the first thing of hers that I’ve read.
Oh wow - I wonder if any white students ever take her class? Why would they waste the money?
Another reason I’m glad my kid isn’t going there.
It rained for awhile after midnight, and it was still drizzly at dawn when I went to work-it is 52 and mostly cloudy now, but no rain...
The nescience of most liberals,
Is really just a personal show
It is about imagination and ego
And not about what they know
Obama’s upper middle class family
Sent him to all the best schools-
So he is sure that qualifies him
To be king and make all the rules
His friends are delusional, too,
They’re superior, never mind how-
But you aren’t suddenly a rancher
Because your friend bought a cow...
Michelle has the thin skin of a tomato-I’m 5’9, and I get asked by shorter people to get stuff off top shelves at the grocery store-it seems completely logical to me-I’ve fetched stuff down in the paint aisle at the hardware store for shorter guys, too...
While that is true, I also think that trumpeting the myth of White racism is a political ploy, used to drum up the democrats' (low-information) voting base. From Skip Gates to Trayvon Martin to Mike Brown to Eric Garner, Obama and Holder have taken positions that have made not-so-bad, pretty-bad, and bad situations much, much worse.
A fair accounting of racism in the United States would include the myriad instances of Black on White crime which far outnumber the few, hand-picked cases cited by the usual suspects. Anything that doesn't fit the left's narratives--of White racism, males preying on women, the rich taking advantage of the poor, Muslim acts of terrorism--all of that is swept under the rug. Instances that fit their meme, whether trumped up like Trayvon Martin or manufactured out of whole cloth like those of the Duke lacrosse team and the University of Virginia fraternity rapes, get full exposure.
