As a Broncos fan I disagree. Teams and their cultures start with their owners and trickle down to the entire organization. You can't build a consistent winning organization from the players up.

Even if the Broncos aren't your team, look at Broncos owner Pat Bowlen. He owned the team for thirty years before he gave up control this year. The NFL is a zero sum game. For every winner there is a loser. But in thirty years the Broncos have two championships, six AFC championships, 11 division titles and 25 winning seasons. That takes a culture of winning beyond any one player or group of players.

Every owner wants to win.
Every coach wants to win.
Every player wants to win.
But wanting is not enough and is just the beginning.
They must work together and have the ability to win.
Without that they are going nowhere.

I’m not a Pats fan, but I admire their QB. He drives the players to the point of exhaustion on practice plays. Over and over and over, maybe 50 times until it’s automatic. That takes dedication and stamina.
Some players are just in it for the money.
They know that win or lose they still get a paycheck..................
