“No, we’re not”, a cop answered tersely.
Holder has already announced he is resigning. Obama has named his replcaement.
Prediction...de Blasio is gone in a month...pressure will be huge on him recall will be threatened but he will step aside to save Obama.

The NYPD don’t need to strike to get their point across. They could keep working, and just ignore violent crime. The homies would ramp up their violence, and then the (unarmed) people would be screaming for Blasio’s head on a platter.

They have a right ,under the Constitution to protest march
They do not have the right to advocate murder , or assisination, or arson, or criminal activity.
If he marches with them, and repeats their refrain and stays in the march advocating murder - he deserves the consequence !
He has the right of "free agency" to leave the head of the parade, at any time, if they call for criminal activity- but he chose not to leave.
