Today's feature stars two musical and screen legends, Frank Sinatra and Doris Day in their only film together. Ol' Blue Eyes plays a cynical, bad boy musician whose outlook on life changes when he wins the affections a sweet, wholesome Doris. Lots of great songs in this semi-musical drama which turns 60 this month.

Frank must have been told to stand on a New York Phone Book during his close-ups with Doris Day. I think she was a little taller than he was back then. They both gave great performances.

Great supporting cast as well: Ethyl Barrymore and Gig Young. Doris was such a sweetie!

Well, that was a waste of time. I can’t get 10 minutes into it without an ad freezing it and holding it.
