That's only half-joking. There's a guy around here who sells in-theater movies on disks. Two for $5. He operates from a semi-organized community flea market very openly. I have no idea why he hasn't been arrested. His little stand is quite popular.
If the movie releases on Thursday, he has it on the weekend. I've actually watched one that a friend had. The quality is actually pretty good.
We watched the 6 Minion mini movies that came with Despicable Me 1 and 2.
I don't recommend it.
Wonder who he was? I only got to speak to Lee Merriweather a few minutes at a DragonCon and wished I had asked. A first rate and classy lady.
Just Googled it: Hank Simms

The movie is one star at best. I wouldn’t waste my time, much less any cash.
OK. I think I might have found that a long time back now that you found it. Thanks.
It is a typical Seth Rogen movie
Yes ,it’s like these guys grab a camera crew and a few friends ,then Bingo ,Movie , LOL
Martin Milner’s snark on Adam-12 was way ahead of his time. My teens love that show (while marvelling that there were color tv shows back when hubby & I were dinosaurs. LOL)
And don’t get me going on Steve McGarrett. Jack Lord set the standard for stylish COOL.
METV also has Petticoat Junction early mornings, Get Smart and The Saint on Sunday night.
Would be hard to convince me that this was nothing more than a PR stunt to gin up interest in a holiday flop.
So they threw a few under the bus, big deal for Crappywood.
Now they have Obummer & Sharpton along, calling the shots, which was the game plan all along...
Don’t forget The Man From U.N.C.L.E.
I would like to see “Strike Force” with Robert Stack.
Many are wondering the same thing.
Glad someone else remembers that short lived classic.
