Maybe high as a kite coming back from Colorado ?
Might that have something to do with it? OR are you being overrun by mexicans who are drunk?

What higher speed limits? I thought everything was the (Rep) Governor’s fault. That’s what the papers tell me every day.
To: Ouderkirk
Kansas may join the two other Colorado border states in a lawsuit.

75 mph, that’s sweet! How fast are people going when they have these fatal accidents?

What are they hitting in the high speed areas ... stalks of wheat?
Oklahoma has had 75mph for a long time. It really is no big deal.

Speeding is the #1 cause of accidents. Just because a particular speed limit is legal doesn’t mean it’s safe.

“Kansas may join the two other Colorado border states in a lawsuit.”
One of the dumbest and most un-Constitutional ideas ever.

"The overall number of crashes on those roads has stayed steady. "
"it is too early to start drawing any conclusions on the connection between higher speed limits and the increased number of accidents. "
Uh, they just said there was NO INCREASE in # of accidents (assuming crash=accident)
Great Gerbilizm.

Weather absolutely has to be taken into account if these year to year comparisons are going to be made.

Following too close is the #1 cause of accidents, not speeding

The speed limit on rural stretches of Interstate here in Idaho is now 80 mph.
To: BenLurkin
i’d guess it has something to do with traffic from colorado.
