I worked with a Navy vet & former Golden Gloves champ in 1977.
He took on a 6’ plus 300# biker and his girlfriend in a Safeway grocery store.
When he finished with him he stuffed a jar of olives in the guys mouth and the girl was out cold on the floor.
Nice guy, just don’t get him mad.
Is a guy 63 and “old man”?
I’ve always said that Age & Experience (and sometimes treachery) will win out over Youth & Exuberance every time.
Im 63 years young and 18 from the waist down
Youth and speed can always be defeated by experience and treachery
A good friend of mine had a cap with this on it. We would regularly wipe young guys in racquetball who had no idea how important skill could be.
At 11-0 he stopped and said: Let me teach you how this game is played.
His name was the same as one of my professors and at the next class I said to the professor:
I played some handball against your dad the other day
He kicked your ass didnt he?
He added that he was 23 before he beat his dad.
He’s not just “any” 63-year-old man.. he’s Carlos Zarate, the former WBC Bantamweight World Champ, who retired in 1988 with a 66-4 record.

Carlos Zarate is no one to mess with. One of the most fierce body punchers ever!
Hope not he’s younger than me.
