The ice bowl... minus 15 degrees. Jerry Kramer threw a block and Bart Starr squiggled into the end zone on a quarterback sneak. Packers won.

I think Suh was playing with some kind of reserved mental attitude that hampered his alleged ferocity, due to his near suspension from the game.

One of them is Golden Tate, whom the Seahawks were glad to be rid of, esp. in the wake of wake of allegations he he seduced Russell Wilson's wife to cheat on the QB with him. They got rid of Brandon Browner (drugs) and Percy Harvin (ego) for the same reasons. Character counts...

My opinion is he is a scrappy little guy who probably won’t last too many seasons of getting hit

I could be wrong of course, but he seems too small out there.

What’s important is to get the call right, even if they reverse it per the rules, whatever people are saying, pass interference.

See, one could say that about Romo too. Romo’s 34 years old and he’s had his ups and downs as well. So yes, Stafford at 26 can improve too.

Cowboys haven’t even been in the playoffs for a while from what I remember.

Well, he had something to do with it. As you say, it takes two to tango.

Guy's talented but also a thug.

The best wild conjecture I have is that the ref called off interference, the judge thought he meant defensive and straightening it out decided on a no-call.
Hey: it fits what happened without invoking anything weird.

Seriously, there should certainly be an explanation coming from the league.

“how come its a major penalty when they run into the DET punter but not when they run into the Dallas punter”

It wasn’t a major penalty. It was a 5 yard “running into the kicker” penalty, which just happened to give Detroit a first down. Why didn’t they call it when it happened to the Dallas punter? Maybe for the same reasons that they didn’t call Dez Bryant for coming well onto the field, with his helmet off, to argue the DPI penalty in a ref’s face, or why they didn’t call Murray for taking his helmet off in the end zone after he scored. Those are both supposed to be automatic 15 yard penalties.

I didn’t mean to come across as a crass poster ordering folks around... technology is here to stay, and it can help settle confusion on the field, just as a review of the subject play revealed.

Just as technology gives us a yellow line across the playing field representing the first down yardage marker, and a blue line represents the line of scrimmage yardage marker... a vertical line or screen could represent the out of bonds perimeter, or end zone boundaries. Just saying...

I would like to see a horizontal bar attached to the top of the vertical field goal posts, representing a pseudo strike zone.

Nor did I FRiend. No offense taken, or intended on my part. I like your ideas. Anything to reduce the decision making by these refs....

Show us an image of the offensive player committed face mask grab PRIOR to the pass interference offense. Please? Pretty please? With a big cherry on top please?

That’s what I admire about him. It’s cool to see this 5’8” guy play so well among these humongous dudes.
