Suicide is one of the most selfish acts one can do.
I really believe he was mentally ill. His family did not now how to deal with him. I can understand that most would not.
So murder would be one of the most unselfish?
I fear to comment on that statement and pray that I will never be so hopeless that I find myself in a situation to contemplate such an act.
I always think of that fateful day in 2001 when ‘normal’ people preferred to plunge to their deaths rather than be burned alive. None had a desire to kill him/her self.
And some others make jokes that it is the ultimate in self-criticism.
It is a tragically sad state of being that leads up to suicide and it begs compassion rather than trite and banal sayings.
