Who gives a $hit what they post.

No kid should be allowed to stand on a dog. Most family dogs would not bark or bite.

But even a little pressure could hurt a dogs back.

But, I am sure they treat the dog as a member of the family. Which means its either drunk or pregnant.

I’ve actually thought about that. It’s uncanny really.

I’m always careful to warn my kids ‘that’s not our dog/cat, he/she might not want strange kids to pet him/her’ when we visit someone’s house.

Someone should fix that I’d hope. Hasn’t happened though.

How bout we focus on getting a RINO House Speaker removed from his position? Maybe a Real Conservative nominee as for president?

Wow!

Okay, since you asked...

I recently ended my monthly contribution to the GOP after the immediate post-election sell-out. This was after resuming monthly contributions during the last campaign season. Why did I end it before? When Palin was getting attacked from all sides for a multiple assassination in AZ ,NO elected republican came to her defense.

Also during the last campaign, I was on the phones doing the get out the vote campaign for the GOP, and working with local candidates to formulate the message to reach minorities who are also fed up with the Commies now running the GOP.

Now, if those creds don't go far enough, then here's more: For years, I've been watching folks on FR get sent off on any wild tangent the left comes up with, especially when it comes to issues of race. My main battle has been within the industry I work - the media, and how to keep Real Americans from falling for their tactics.

Yes, that's right - the big media. I operate from inside the belly of the beast. I've given inside info, pointers on what to do, what not to do, and what many on my colleagues really think.

Sidebar note: Please don't get the impression that I'm upset with you - I'm used to this. But I feel impassioned to say this because a) I'm still on holiday break and have time to write and b) because this silly thread has over 255 posts at the time I'm writing this (and I wonder how many posts were given to the recent release of Gitmo prisoners in violation of federal law). But I digress...

I've also been here for years working to convince my fellow freepers that when it comes to black folks, what you see on television is not the norm, but only the parts the media want you to see. But unfortunately, as much as we loathe the so-called MSM (Drudge, Limbaugh and Levin get better ratings than they do, but whatever), too many on this site fall for their crap and like it or not, take what they say as gospel.

Such as "Palin's kid standing on a dog is causing outrage on the left, and reason for a public discourse ..."

funny, last I checked on the left, This wasn't even Palin's kid.

jimjohn - OUT.

Oh, I’m sorry, did you want to weep and whine some more about the horrors of these sweet moments in that loving home?

The relationship between these two is normal and healthy, and loving.

The Palin dog looks happy and well adjusted, my guess is that your pets lean toward neurotic and unnatural.

If Chelsea weighed 40 pounds I wouldn’t care if she had stood on a black lab for half a minute.

Stepping, full weight on a dog is a stupid thing to let your kid do. Take pictures of it and using as a lesson to just step on the creatures that love you and will endure pain for you is also stupid.

Why this woman is held up as a role model is simply beyond me.

Dogs *may* scream if they are in pain, but dogs are also well known for hiding it; it's a survival technique common to many animals.

Other signs of pain include (but are not limited to):

• Whimpering or vocalizing

• Becoming quiet, withdrawn, and inactive

• Showing uncharacteristic aggressiveness when approached (an attempt to protect themselves from further pain)

• Holding the ears flat against the head

• Increased licking of a painful/sensitive area

• Decreased appetite

• Reluctance to walk, run, climb stairs, jump, or play

• Stiffness or limping

• Lagging behind on walks

• Unexpected reactions when touched

• Changes in personality

Same can be said, considering your post history, as why you are on a right wing website.

Not really.

Would you let your kid STAND on your dog?

I know that would get my kids a swat across their ass.

Dogs are living creatures. Do I play rough with my dog, sure. Have I ever let one of my kids stand on one? Of course not.

I cannot understand how the people here condone stupid behavior from this family because she has you all under her spell.

Please post the pictures you have of your kids standing on your dogs. I dare you.

Please post the cute pictures of your children standing on a dog.

This has nothing to do with politics.

Allowing your kids to treat animals that way..their pets, is just stupid and careless. Especially a child who might not understand how that would be bad to do to a pitbull.

I would. If I could find them amidst the dogsd on motorcycles, dogs in dune buggies bouncing through the desert, dogs yoked to wagons, dogs acting like ponies, Dogs doing what kids and dogs have done for...ever?

You are a PDSing Lib. Have been for years. Tell it to someone that cares.

I dare you.

As an Assoc. School Psychologist, I was the supervisor of a class of mentally challenged students - they were junior high/high school students, most Down Syndrome, with IQ’s about 40-60. I know those teachers would have used that moment of his being on top of the dog, to teach him about dogs being alive and could be hurt.

One cannot make emphatic judgments on how the dog looks as the dog’s face is not visible in the photo.

One ought not automatically assume that a moment is “sweet” or “loving” because one favors a politician.

Pretend that the picture wasn’t of a politician’s child. Pretend you don’t know anything about the dog, the child, the home environment or the parents (unless, of course, you are intimately acquainted with the Palin family and are a regular guest/ friend of the family / relative). What is your reaction now?

Not to mention, if one posts a picture of one’s child standing on one’s dog on a social media website and one is *not* of the elite political class, one gets a knock on the door from a representative of one (or more) government agency(ies).

So then the logical conclusion is that Palin is a sadist that hid the dogs face to hide it’s pain while getting off on the suffering of the people horrified by the picture.

Right?
