No kid should be allowed to stand on a dog. Most family dogs would not bark or bite.

But even a little pressure could hurt a dogs back.

But, I am sure they treat the dog as a member of the family. Which means its either drunk or pregnant.

People just need something to be outraged about.

#1 Trig weighs about 40lbs or so? If even.

#2 That is a Lab. If it was in pain it would have gotten up and moved away. The will tolerate a lot but when they have had enough they let you know.

#3 That is a Lab - I’m sure it has done more than it’s fair share of standing on/ laying on not just Trig but the rest of the family.

#4 All the pictures I have seen he always had his hands on the counter.

#5 How many times has the tail of death hit the kid? If you have ever been smacked with the tail of a Lab or Golden you know what I am talking about.

Other dogs run their packs differently from the way that I run mine. I dont much care for what anyone has to say about how I run mine. I am sure the vise-versa is true.

Obvious pack behavior going on in all pictures referenced. The black dog is being submissive to the human dog child and is not in distress or he would get up and move.

I don’t think Palin’s son should be standing on the family dog, but I also think the rebuke of Palin has little to do with the dog’s best interest and more about trying to harm Palin’s public appeal.
