When a fireman rescues a baby from a burning building, the fireman is not expected to care for the baby for life.
Rescue by definition is a very short term effort.
Usually, when you ADOPT a dog from a RESCUE, it is a “forever home”, you know, like until either you or the dog DIES. It’s not a political beard to fool folks into voting for you.
That's wrong. 'Rescue' means you go to a shelter to adopt a dog. It's supposed to be a lifetime commitment.
I've always believed if you want to know the character of a person, watch how they treat their animals.
What on God’s Earth are you babbling on about?
Do you even know what it means to rescue a dog?
A fireman doesn’t go around posting photos of the baby he rescues using them to get a raise or in a campaign to win a political office, either.
Isn’t “rescue” just a new word for adopting a dog, or as the older way of saying it was, went to the pound to find a dog, or I got him at the pound?
