They are so worth it. I might have to get up with my sick one tonight; her breathing is ragged cause she has a cold, but even still, they are WORTH IT. My li’l one is about 6 months younger than this one but isn’t it the cutest age? They can talk, and share their feelings, and it’s just so adorable to see life through their eyes. And yeah, watching her watch her mama sing (they are such pretty twins), OK, I SHED A TEAR. Dang. At least her mama was quite good.
Quick funny about the half-good way three year olds understand the universe. Yesterday, my older boy (11) needed snacks for his time with his aide and a friend after school, but the aide was meeting us at our house very soon, so we stopped at the store fast. I told the two kids, “we’ve gotta make this fast so we can get home. We’ve gotta beat Mr. justin.” Her eyes!! “Beat Mister Justin, Mommy??” No, we aren’t going to hit him - we just want to get home before he gets there! :)
