FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler appears poised to propose new rules that would classify Internet service providers as public utilities in a move designed to ensure everyone has the same access to free content online. […]

The remarks suggest that the Federal Communications Commission is falling in line with President Barack Obama, who announced in November that he favors governing Internet service providers like telephone companies to preserve a “free and open” Internet. …

There is a nice distinction in a definition of the difference between ‘rich’ and ‘wealthy’ in terms of money.

A rich person can live off the interest of their principle (1st Order).

A wealthy person can live off the interest of the interest of their principle (2nd Order).

The Federal Income Tax does not affect the ‘wealthy’, it affects the ‘rich’ and the middle class.

Net Neutrality was a concept developed by an avowed Marxist professor named McChesney (poss. Un. of Wisconsin). It would put the internet under govt control (i.e. Obama’s Marxist control).

Check the internet for more on McChesney as well as www.keywiki.org and www.DiscoverTheNetwork.org.

You're right. net neutrality is just marxism by another name and it does allow the government to control the Internet. They write propaganda pushing this using technical terms and with a lot of legalese but it's all just socialism

There are always idiots on this forum arguing for letting the FCC impose their net neutrality on us. I don't know if they are democrat moles or just idiots.

Yeah I don’t want them to control it either. The lawlessness of the Executive is unbelievable, hope this isn’t the latest chapter.

That's very well said.

It's amazing how many people even on this forum trust government when government says that they want to fix something that isn't broken.

Why do they trust government and not the free market?

Capitalism or the free market has created most of the technology like smart phones and capitalism is what is driving the economy. government is just a drag on capitalism. I mean new products are coming out every day and technology in electronics is improving every day and that is being driven by private companies that are innovating like Google, tmobile, IBM ,INtel, APple, Samsung, ZTE, HTC,Amazon,Sharp,Toyota,Walmart, Zeiki etc. that technology advancement is not being driven by the FCC nor DMV nor IRS but by private companies(capitalism) innovating and producing and improving tech and efficiency and quality.
