Robbery “goes bad” with the robbery, not the shooting. The phrase turns my stomach.
The phrase disgusts me,too. Robbery is a felony, so it “turned bad” the moment the perps decided to do it.
Now “robbery turns good” is when the vics shoot and kill the robber and don’t get hurt themselves. That phrase I could enjoy hearing.
