But getting the dents out of my chest... from big's feet will take a little while.
Meanwhile, my picks are as follows:
I see Aaron Boy peg-legging his Pack past the Seahags even if they literally have 12 men on the field--
And Old Man "Get Off My Lawn!" Brady & Friends Not Awaiting Trial will cane down that young whippersnapper Andy Luck's Ponies--
If this gives big a split personality for the Super Bowl... so be it--
But a part of me... thinks--
This will not... end well--
Yeah, Bend-- You got that... Right!!!!
Okay, all y'all get your picks in while big is still alive... and still picking up the tab!
Ha! NObody but us Colts fans gave them a chance yesterday but the Shoe came Through. And they will shock the nation by upsetting Belecheat’s Pats. Then they will take home the Lombardi by upsetting the Hawks by 8. Believe in the Shoe!
That’s the spirit Bender. If you were a Lions fan, you’d still be whining!!!
NE by 14
I foresee the Seahawks beating the Packers, by 7, and the Patriots beating the Colts, by 3.
I would like for the Seahawks to win, but I would like the Colts to beat the Patriots.
So.....did Dez make that catch or not?
Seattle by 6 over the Packers
Tom Brady gets his LAST post-season win, ever, (by 6) over the Colts.
Going be Seattle and Tom Brady go Old men puppet from Jeff Dunham act Walter against the team
Who cares? Go Ducks! QUACK!
Today’s big question: Will OH-How-I-Hate control the wide-out screen of Oregon?
I think they will. Buckeyes by 10.5
And, no///I ain’t offering money for that spread.
Hate the Pats. Hate the Seawhiners.
Generally just tired of Packers fans.
That leaves the Colts. Aside from the time I spent living in Indiana, you also have to give mad props to an organization smart enough to pack up and leave Baltimore, in a manner that was essentially a giant middle finger.
So... GO COLTS!
After 2 pretty solid weeks of mostly great football this playoff is going to take a serious dip next week. Both games will probably be 3 score margins (same as they were last time these pairingw met) as the Hawks and Pats get a practice scrimmage on their way to the SB. But take heart, the Pro Bowl will be much much worse, and the SB should be good.
Only one observation from me. Either the Cowboys got robbed or the Sea hawks were given the game. Two identical catches and fumbles. One ruled complete and the other not. What’s up with that?
Pats by 3 or 4
Seahawks by 7 to 10
Not sure who to pull for now that my team is out. I guess the colts so Luck can get a ring. I think I’m rooting for the AFC in the superbowl regardless, would rather not see the seahawks repeat ...but I think it’s highly likely.
Seahawks 41, Packers 9. Thank you very much.
So far. I’m 75% for the playoffs. Pretty cool. Here’s what I have for Sunday. Hope they’re good games and hope you have fun watching them.
#3 Packers at #2 Seahawks Sun 1/18 1pm MT FOX
Seahawks: On offense, Seattles #7 passing game should be slowed by GBs #8 pass defense. However, Seattles #1 running game should dominate GBs #19 run defense.
Seattles #1 defense, which looks like one of Pattons armored divisions, should be tough against both the #1 GB pass with weakened GB QB Aaron Rodgers, and GBs mediocre #10 running game.
GB GBs #1 offense leans heavily on their #1 passing game which is significantly weakened by QB Aaron Rogers calf injury. GBs #10 running game will have trouble against Seattles #2 run defense putting even more pressure on their weakened passing game.
On defense, GBs #8 pass defense should slow the Seahawks #7 passing game. However, GBs #19 run defense is in trouble against Seattles #1 running game.
Projected winner: Seahawks
#7 Indy Colts at #1 NE Patriots Sun 1/18 4:30pm MT CBS
NE NE looks like a strange duck on offense. They are #4 in the NFL in points scored, which is how games are won, but in the lower half of the NFL in yards per attempt, both run and pass.
On defense, NE is #8 in points against but weak in yardage against the pass at #14.
Colts On offense, the Colts are #6 in the NFL in points scored and #5 in the pass. They should at least move the ball against NEs mediocre pass defense. The Colts weak #22 running game which was almost non-existent in the Divisional Playoffs, should also be stopped this week by NEs #8 run defense.
On defense, the Colts, #19 ranking in points, sre vulnerable to NEs #4 high-scoring offense. However, in terms of run/pass yardage, the Colts defense looks evenly matched against NE.
Could be a close game. Could come down to which QB performs better.
Projected winner: NE but the Colts have a good chance of an upset. May come down to who performs better: NEs Brady and his #4 offense or the Colts Luck and his #5 passing game.
Packers are manhandling the Seahawks.
If they could just get through the red zone, instead of having to settle for field goals, they would have put this game to bed already.
I hate the results, as I was pulling for the Packers, but this is the way playoff games should be — nail biters to the very end.
