Downtown LA Crime Surged 25 Percent In 2014

In other categories, there were 260 murders recorded in LA in 2014, nine more than in 2013, authorities said. Sexual assault cases were also up 20 percent, while property crimes overall were down in all categories.

Despite the surge, officials say the downtown area is as safe as ever and attributed the surge to an internal change in the way crimes are classified.

Obama promised change, and he delivered for LA with all the illegals who have been emboldened by Obama’s refusal to ensure that the laws are faithfully executed.

According to data released by the Denver Police Department, the city has experienced a 14.6% drop in crime since January 1, 2014, property crime is also down 14% and violent crime has decreased by 2.4%.

Peter Tilden was speaking about this on his KABC radio show a few nights ago.

It’s not a spike in crime. What it is is accurate reporting after years of Chiefs Beck and Bratton phonying up the statistics on their watch.
