I find “looks like I picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue” loosens things up a bit when we run into problems where I work.
Yes, this is an old thread -- but I was entertaining myself by reading the responses I missed....
I use this one as well, but substitute "stop smoking". Unfortunately, more and more people don't understand it. Instead, I get: "I didn't know you smoked!".
I guess you have to be at least a "certain age" to remember Airplane!
