I call BS. It’s just not in the nature of a cat.

if the cat was starving it probably would have chowed down on the kid

It’s not in the nature of a cat to find something warm to snuggle up to?

Not true, there is video of a cat putting itself in harm’s way to save a kid from a dog attack and I know of one feral kitty who appointed herself guardian over an injured cat, keeping it fed, warm, and guarded from harm.

Cats love to curl up on bodies for warmth. If you had one and treated it right, you'd know. This cat and the baby had a mutual benefit going on. What's wrong with that?

You are incorrect. Not too long ago thete was a video of a cat saving a toddler that got dragged and chewed up by a dog. The cat instantly pounced on the dog. Some cats are just as loyal as dogs

Clearly, you don’t know cats. . .especially mine.

Yeh....Mom said I had to get rid of my cat before my bro was born.

I have had many cats and the only thing a cat ever did was to look up at me and say “feed me you fool” but maybe the baby survived because the cat was looking for a spot out of the weather. That’s nice.

I’ve seen cats move in and try to protect kids who were being scolded by their parents.
