Well they kind of stand by her, after their website was probably crashed by people supporting her they decided it would be a good thing PR wise to not fire her and move her to no delivery position. Let's wait and see how things shake out longer term whether they gently direct her to the door. And of course they reaffirm their position that employees have no right to defend themselves.

The reason they have this corporate policy is easy to explain. Could you imagine the law suite if a company employee shot a person in anger while working?
It is better to have a corporate policy that denies employees their second amendment rights than to leave it to the ambulance chasing scum bag lawyers.
