That was my reaction, too. By the time this is over, the vic will be prosecuted under Hate Crime statutes because the perp was just “being hisself”. In no parallel universe would I think that if a guy pointed a gun at me and told me to drop trou, that what he really wanted was to steal my car (which is the article’s assertion). No way.
