I agree. FireFly would be awesome.

If they are going to remake classics, they need to do this one:

They missed the big deadline from the original series - 21 December 2012. That is when the alien invasion was supposed to occur.
I always had a crush on Scully too, but I think that Gillian Anderson is pretty exclusively lesbian. That may have been part of why there were lots of reports that she and Duchovney did not get along well in real life. Her career has not been great since the X-Files, but Duchovney has done better, so they would probably have to pay him more to get him back.

That episode where he was waiting in Fox’s home in season 2 or 3 for a conversation/confrontation I was so wrapped in it I leaped out of my chair and shouted SHOOT THAT M*****F***** RIGHT NOW!
My wife was a bit aghast at that :-)

no new ideas!
At least the SyFy channel brought some new shows to the small screen with Ascention(sp) and Z Nation. So what if they were crap at least they weren’t remakes!!!

I was spellbound by the series every Friday night. Scully’s pantsuits and those smoking hot white stockings did it for me. I saw one of my own projects from Wright Patterson mentioned on the show one night. Which I can’t talk about, not secret, but let’s say something I won’t talk about. I will say I worked on a project that I needed architectural details for a flare stack installation I honcho-ed. I can verify there was original drawings from the 40’s for a cryogenic test cell (hanger 18) May the legend continue.

I read somewhere that Bruce will be staring and reprising the role of a much older Ash in a new Evil Dead series on Showtime.
