it's going to deflate some at lower temperatures

No deflation, just lower pressure. Good example are tires at 70 mave have a tire pressure of 35 psi, but may drop to 25 PSI when the temperature is at 0. That same tire will pressure back up, when the temperature rises.

Now to take it a step further, A football may lose pressure, and it thusly impacts the tensile strength of the leather of the football. That can impact how the ball is thrown or kicked.
