Many of the Occupy Wall Street folks described themselves as "anarchists," which is just a self-delusional pose, since "anarchism" is the last thing they want. What they want is top-down, authoritarian socialism.

But despite their claim to be anarchists, the media NEVER called them "anti-government" as they routinely do with Constitution-based, limited-government Tea Party activists. Either the media were covering for them, or they knew that the "anarchist" label was just a pose.

Correct.

Most of them are too ignorant, stupid, or both, to realize that top-down, authoritarian socialism is the exact opposite of anarchy.

To a Communist, "anarchism" is another name for "mob rule", there the State has stopped protecting private property and the mob can seize what they want. The OWS people simply see themselves as the leaders of the mob.

It just doesn't penetrate that, once the rule of law is abandoned, then the people who will rise to the top will be the most ruthless and capable killers.
